These are Afghan rugs stapled to the wall by Elana Herzog. I was blown away by the fragile look she had given the rugs through stapling them. What I like about it as well is that it's also a piece of ‘politicical’ art, with a message. It’s called 'Civilization and its Discontents from 2003'. She made this installation in a New York gallery just before the invasion in Irak.
