I was away for the most part of the day and therefor could not take my usual and much needed dose of Medicine for the people.
So now i really need to catch up :-) I have not posted this song before, just posted another song from this session. This session was sung on the streets of Portland after they had done a show.
The lyrics of every Medicine for the people song are magical. It's always a prayer.
For our rivers our mountains we sing
Today is a good day for my ego to die
Spirit live on in my heart, in my body my mind
We sing to let go of all of our pain
We dance the story to remember that things change
Holy holy grandmother we sing
Wash us clean from our pain and suffering
Give us strength for new beginnings
It wash away lift them up
I travell the world only to find that love is undefined
And i am okay with that.
