Dreaming of a summer garden

I am not a person who knows his way around the garden. I do wish to become one day. Especially now I have been given the chance to rent a small piece of land near our apartment to grow vegetables and flowers on. My dream is to create a garden to support my solar dyeing activities. I am going to plant some nice flowers who have strong colors to experiment with. It’s still January I know, not the best time to plant anything yet, but I am dreaming of a beautiful summer flower garden already.

Hydrangea  are one of my all time favorite kind flowers. I can’t dye with them but I sure like looking at them. I also love to witness their decaying beauty, I never throw them away…until I absolutely have to.
