I remember his words very well. My favorite teacher in art school he used to say; if your mouth waters it's good work! If you feel it is mouth watering whatever you created then it's good enough to bring it to school and show me. These words keep popping up in my head as i wonder what criteria make me pin or repin onto my boards in Pinterest. It's exactly what i feel when i pin..Is art supposed to be just mouth watering??? I think it's a good criteria. To me it doesn't have to be all that conceptual and philosophical, if my body juices start flowing it's the perfect piece of art!!!
